I have been privileged to have used Malcolm’s framing services for several years and I have always been happy with the high-quality service provided. I have had framed general photos, montages and pictures of varying sizes as well as signed football players’ shirts, other famous sport players signed photos and various personal photos at international meetings (e.g., conferences, the UN, IMF, OECD, World Bank, European Commission, etc.) where I have represented the UK. Well over 20 pieces to date. I am happy with all of Malcolm’s work, it is of the highest quality, good value, completed within reasonable timelines and he is willing to provide advice on any options for consideration. Malcolm has framed five pictures for me now. I'm always excited when I need another framed because Malcolm guides me through colours, materials and styles, goes on to produce what I consider to be a work of art of his own, and ultimately presents me with my picture enhanced by his perfect framing. Malcolm really is the best of framers. Remarkably his prices don't reflect that which means I can afford to return to him time and again.

Malcom recently worked on mounting and framing 3 pictures for me and the difference afterwards is fantastic! I went in with a vauge idea of what I had in mind but he was patient and knowledgeable to go through the best combination of frame materials, colour schemes of mount and glass available to get the most out of my images within my budget. Very pleased with the work done, highly recommend and will be very happy to use his skills and expertise again.

Fantastic service from Malcolm. Took the time during our initial consultation to suggest size, colour and shape of frame to really bring out the best in the prints. Advised on the colours of mounts and the types of glass that would work well based on the location of hanging. The finished product of my framed signed rugby shirt is fantastic. Options were discussed beforehand and my preferences were taken into consideration, the result being proudly on display. I recently asked Malcolm to frame some very delicate flowers made from sugar icing from my daughter's wedding cake. This was no easy task! Mally has framed many pictures, prints, miniatures, posters, & original oils & watercolours for me for decades. He even framed for my mother 25 years ago! His choice of mounts & frames is always brilliant, so I only give him a rough guide eg modern not trad, grey not too dark, no browns or gilt, mount or slip frame to suit as usual. When given a broad spec, Malcolm produces the finest results.

Malcolm at Village Framing has been framing my oils on board & watercolours for 20 years & has always produced surprisingly suitable mounts and frames which I would never have imagined. Always the works come back twice as good as when unframed. Well done Malcolm & thank you so very much.
